European Economics Preview: Germany Factory Orders Data Due

Factory orders from Germany and investor confidence from euro area are due on Monday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Destatis is scheduled to issue Germany's factory orders figures. Economists forecast orders to drop 0.4 percent on month in August, following a 2.7 percent decrease in July.

In the meantime, Statistics Norway is slated to publish industrial production data. At 3.00 am ET, the Czech Statistical Office releases industrial output and foreign trade figures for August. Also, Hungary's industrial production data is due.

Half an hour later, UK Halifax house price data is due. Economists expect house prices to climb 1.6 percent on year, following a 1.8 percent rise in August.

At 4.30 am ET, Eurozone Sentix investor confidence survey results are due. The confidence indicator is seen at -13 in October versus -11.1 in September.
