Malaysia Jobless Rate Falls In October

Malaysia's unemployment rate fell marginally in October, data from the Department of Statistics reported on Friday.

The jobless rate fell to 3.2 percent in October from 3.3 percent in September. In the same period last year, unemployment rate was 3.3 percent.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, jobless rate fell to 3.2 percent in October from 3.3 percent in September.

The number of unemployed decreased to 512,100 from 521,400 in September.

The employment increased to 15.26 million in October from 15.22 million in the prior month.
