South Korea CPI Rises 0.2% On Year In November

Consumer prices in South Korea were up 0.2 percent on year in November, Statistics Korea said on Monday.

That was shy of expectations for an increase of 0.7 percent following the flat reading in October.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices sank 0.6 percent - marking the biggest drop in more than a year.

Core CPI, which excludes the volatile prices of food, advanced an annual 0.6 percent. That's up from 0.5 percent in the previous month.
