European Economics Preview: Eurozone Inflation, Foreign Trade Data Due

Final inflation and foreign trade figures are due from the euro area on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association is scheduled to issue Europe's new car registrations figures for February.

At 5.00 am ET, Italy's Istat publishes industrial orders for January. Orders are forecast to fall 0.2 percent on month in January after rising 1.4 percent in December. At 6.00 am ET, Eurostat is slated to issue euro area final inflation data. Final inflation is seen at 1.2 percent in February, unchanged from the flash estimate.

The euro area trade surplus is expected to fall to a seasonally adjusted EUR 19.2 billion in January from EUR 22.2 billion in December.

In the meantime, Italy's foreign trade data is due. The trade surplus is seen at EUR 2.8 billion in January versus EUR 5.01 billion in December.
