South Korea Import Prices Fall For Third Month

South Korea's import prices fell for the third month in a row in April, data from Bank of Korea showed on Friday.

Import prices declined 14.1 percent year-on-year in April, following a 7.9 percent fall in March.

At the same time, export prices decreased 5.9 percent annually in April, following a 3.8 percent fall in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, import prices fell 5.1 percent in April, following a 5.3 percent decrease in the preceding month.

Export prices declined 1.6 percent monthly in April, the same pace of fall as seen in the prior month.
