Vietnam Manufacturing PMI Climbs To 52.6 In July - Markit

The manufacturing sector in Vietnam continued to expand, and at a faster rate, the latest survey from Markit Economics revealed on Thursday with a manufacturing PMI score of 52.6.

That's up fractionally from 52.5 in June, and it moves further above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.

Individually, there was faster growth in output and new orders, while output prices fell again as cost pressures softened.

That said, the rate of job creation was only slight and weaker than that seen in June.
