Malaysia's industrial production growth accelerated in November driven by manufacturing, electricity and mining, data from the Department of Statistics showed on Friday.
Industrial production rose 2.0 percent year-on-year in November, following a 0.3 percent increase in October.
Manufacturing output grew 2.5 percent in November, following a 2.2 percent rise in the previous month.
Among other sectors, electricity output gained 1.6 percent annually in November, and mining and quarrying output rose 0.5 percent.
On a monthly basis, industrial production increased 1.8 percent in November, reversing a 1.0 percent decrease in the previous month.
