At 2.00 am ET Thursday, Germany's Gfk consumer confidence data is due. The forward-looking consumer sentiment index is seen at -2.8 in November versus -1.6 in October.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 124.01 against the yen, 1.1848 against the greenback, 0.9018 against the pound and 1.0736 against the franc as of 1:55 am ET.
